Too much government is taking away our jobs.
Every year as small business owners, my husband and I ask each other the same question – is it worth it to keep our doors open for another year? I bet we are not the only ones asking this question because the regulation required by state government is making it more and more difficult to create jobs in Oregon.
Nearly every year our state government changes the playing field for doing business. Entrepreneurs in Oregon are required to get more licenses and certifications than in any other state. These requirements go beyond the level of keeping the general public safe and create unnecessary barriers for small businesses to succeed and employ people, forming the foundation of a healthy community.
If elected as your State Representative, I will look at each bill and ask the simple question “Will this law make it easier or harder to create jobs in Oregon?”
I am running for office because I want to help you achieve your dreams – to make sure you can start that business or take that job you’ve always wanted and create the life that you want for you and those you love.
