There are 12 weeks left to help me get elected as the next State Representative in HD20. We have bumper stickers, buttons, signs and handouts for you to wear and share. Our campaign office will be open this Saturday, August 20 from 9-1 PM. Please come on by and get some for you and a friend.
It’s a busy week for me walking in South Salem, touring the Monmouth-Independence Police Station, visiting with the Latino communities, attending the Polk County Republican Women’s annual picnic and the Hometown Heroes Night at the Volcanoes game. I am having a great time meeting new people and learning so much about our wonderful community. If you’d like to join me in any of these activities just let me know and we’ll get you the details.
And you can join me this Saturday August 20th from 9:30-11:30 AM, I will be walking door to door. As we have shared before this is a great way to get some exercise, meet new people and be with me all at once! We will meet at the campaign office in West Salem.
In addition to walking door to door here are some other areas that your help will make a difference:
Take a yard sign, or two! By far the best looking yard signs this election cycle belong to me. Be sure to have one for your yard. You may pick it up this Saturday, August 20th between 9 and 1 PM at the campaign office. Of if you’d like it delivered, just let us know. Deliveries are planned for late August / early September.
Write a letter to the editor in support of my candidacy. This is similar to a post on Facebook, you write why you think I should be the next Representative for HD20. We can help you with the mechanics of submitting the letter or ideas to start the letter.
Host a “Candidate Coffee” in your home. This is a time for voters to meet me in an informal, relaxed, home setting. It is not a fundraiser. We help organize the event and send out the invitations.
Remember to volunteer, or if you have any other questions or comments concerning events or opportunities please contact Raquel at email@example.com or call 503.967.4329.
The campaign office is located in Suite 170 at 1594 Edgewater St NW, Salem 97304; and I hope to see you this Saturday!
Keeping the faith,
